FULL DESCRIPTION 
 
The selected candidate will be responsible for: 
  • As an Accounting Clerk, you will work on a three-person team, where you will perform both accounting and clerical tasks
  • Efficiency and accuracy will be key in this fast-paced environment
  • You will be responsible for processing, and recording transactions, preparing reports, and communicating with customers and vendors
  • Your responsibilities will also include organizing and managing files as well as other administrative duties
  • There will be extensive on the job training provided, as well as access to many other learning opportunities
  • General filing responsibilities including matching, organizing, locating, and processing paperwork
  • Interacting with our customers through email and over the phone, answering any customer billing questions and processing customer payments
  • Interacting with our vendors through email and over the phone to resolve billing discrepancies
  • Data entry including inputting customer payment information, vendor bills, and keeping customer/vendor account information up-to-date in our ERP system
  • Learning and utilizing our company ERP system (NetSuite) to complete daily tasks, such as generating customer invoices, reconciling deposits, processing vendor payments, and other financial transactions
  • Utilizing Microsoft Office apps such as Word and Excel to put together general financial reporting documents
  • Assisting with our "End of Month" close-outs which take place on the last business day of each month
  • Assist the customer service team by answering phones in a courteous manner
 
 
The selected candidate will also possess: 
  • Education: Associate's Degree or better (required)
  • Strong math and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational abilities
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently while thriving in fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity and basic understanding of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to remain motivated and positive while working in a shared office space
  • A proactive and customer-centric mindset, driven by a genuine passion for delivering outstanding service
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and conscientious work habits
  • Excellent punctuality and attendance

Salary Range: $24-$26/hr
