Immediate opening for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in San Diego, CA who possess:
  • Must have prior working experience working through an undefined process in various systems. 
  • Ability to be customer service driven with both internal and external customers 
  • 5 years of experience with accounting or medical billing in an autonomous environment

FULL DESCRIPTION:  
   
The selected candidate will be responsible for:   
  • Reviewing new customer purchase orders and sales quotes to create new sales orders
  • Receive and process Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMA's)
  • Bill customers based on proper shipping terms
  • Process any cash receipts including, checks, EFTs, or credit cards
  • Coordinate with vendors to collect on outstanding payments
  • Communicate with customers on any accounts receivable inquiries
  • Issue ad hoc, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for sales, collections, and aging
  • Maintain tax exemption document library
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or misapplied cash transactions
  • Post accounts receivable data to profit/loss reports, balance sheets and income statements
  • Review all credit balances, and refunds and apply adjustments to corporate billing records
  • Adhere to all environmental policies and programs as required
  • Other duties as assigned
  
  The selected candidate will also possess: 
  • Must possess excellent customer service 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of scientific terminology and laboratory processes.
  • Detail-oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be extremely responsible with integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
 
 
Salary Range: $75,000 to $90,000 /year
