Immediate opening for a Brand Support Specialist in North Charleston, SC who possesses:  
  • 1-2 years' experience with selling/marketing promotional products
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace, SalesForce, Seamless.ai, Adobe Creative Suite, Quickbooks, and other relevant software as needed.
  • Bachelor's Degree  or equivalent industry experience preferred

FULL DESCRIPTIONAre you a master of organization with a passion for driving success? As our Brand Support Specialist, you'll be the linchpin coordinating our sales goals, blending your knowledge of systems, processes, and products with a keen eye for gross profit and gross margin, all while delivering strong customer service. You'll cultivate strong vendor relationships and ensure seamless cross-departmental communication to empower our sales team in hitting their targets. Your daily mission will involve consistently fueling the sales team with ideas and presentations, bridging communication between sales and various departments, facilitating transactional orders, and bringing out of the box thinking to the daily operations. 
 
The selected candidate will be responsible for: 
  • Be a Sales Supercharger: You'll be the go-to support for all sales functions, from crafting compelling presentations and accurate estimates to managing shipping, inventory, and price quotations, all while keeping vendor communications smooth throughout the sales process.
  • Information Architect: You'll have a knack for gathering critical information from various sources to present the best solutions.
  • Closing Champion: Coordinate closely with our sales staff to help close new opportunities, ensuring all vital data is at their fingertips for strategic negotiation, exciting cross-selling, and smart upselling with clients.
  • Solution Architect: Partner with our sales team and vendors, always keeping client needs at the forefront, to build custom solutions that hit those sweet spots for return on investment (ROI) and gross margin targets.
  • Efficiency Enthusiast: Boost our close ratio by clearly and quickly communicating options to the sales team, while also keeping your finger on the pulse of industry trends and client needs.
  • CRM Dynamo : Keep our CRM up-to-date, managing the status of customer opportunities to "closed won/lost," and ensuring presentations are always followed up on.
  • Upsell Hunter: Identify opportunities based on sales rep directives that upsells the requests to ensure success for both sales and the clients. 
  • Product Pro: Dive deep into our product assortment so you can confidently communicate options to clients, and then efficiently execute presentations, estimates, invoices, and proposals.
  • Pre & Post Sales Paladin: Lend a hand with pre-sales and post-sales activities, like providing detailed product information, answering client questions, and following up on orders for referrals and reviews.
  • Market Maestro: Stay on top of market conditions, including product offerings, updates, new service offerings, and emerging technologies, and share your insights with the team.
  • Reporting Rock Star: Complete sales reports diligently, ensuring account activity, outstanding opportunities, won/lost opportunities, and leads all meet our sales metrics in Salesforce.
  • Production Partner: Work hand-in-hand with our Operations team to ensure we can meet the needs of the client requests. 
  • Improvement Innovator: Offer valuable internal feedback on how we can continuously improve and develop our product and service assortment and workflow for both the company and the end-user.
  • Team Player: Perform other related duties as assigned - we're a team, and we all chip in!
 
The selected candidate will also possess: 
  • Oral Communication: You're a clear, confident, and engaging speaker.
  • Written Communication: Your emails, proposals, and reports are impeccably clear and persuasive.
  • Google Workspace: You're a whiz with Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
  • Customer Service & Relations: You genuinely love helping people and building lasting relationships.
  • Math Skills: You're comfortable with numbers, at least at an Algebra level.
  • Negotiation Process and Technique: You've got the finesse to navigate discussions and achieve win-win outcomes.
  • Time Management: You're a pro at juggling multiple tasks and hitting deadlines.
  • Sales Process and Technique: You understand the sales journey from prospecting to closing.
  • Curiosity and Problem Solving: You're always asking "why?" and love finding creative solutions.
  • Lean Process Understanding: You appreciate efficiency and streamlined workflows.
  • Conflict Management: You can calmly and effectively resolve disagreements.
  • Software Superpowers: Familiarity with Google Workspace, SalesForce, Seamless.ai, Adobe Creative Suite, Quickbooks, and other relevant software as needed.
  • Sales Savvy: A strong understanding of the basic sales process: prospect, qualify, present, close.
  • Academic Acumen: A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry experience is preferred.
  • Communication Star: Exceptional business writing, verbal, and interpersonal skills are an absolute must!
  • Valid Driver's License: Must meet insurance underwriting requirements.
  • Work Authorization: Must be a US Citizen or provide proof of authorization to work in the US.
 
Salary Range: $40k/yr
