Immediate opening for an Machine Operator (AOI Operator 2nd shift) in Brea, CA who possesses: 

  • Need experience with machines (machine operator) with the ability to gauge if our surface mount/pick and place machines are aligning parts on our PCBA's
  •  Should be able to detect accuracy and precision and flag any issues
  • They also must be able to run/work with the programs on our machines

FULL DESCRIPTIONOur client is looking for a talented AOI Operator in Brea, CA.
 
The selected candidate will possess the following qualifications: 
  •  High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in electronics assembly manufacturing or similar industry
  • Knowledge of Automated Optical Inspection equipment and procedures
  • Comprehension of IPC-610A and J-STD-001 standards. Prior certification is a plus
  • Must understand how electronic components are oriented and be able to distinguish the different part numbers
  • Ability to interpret Engineering Documentation and work instructions
 
The selected candidate will also be responsible for: 
  • Responsible for setup and operation of Automated Optical Inspection machine
  • Ability to operate equipment in a fast paced electro mechanical production environment
  • Understands rules and requirements for proper handling of electronic components: Electrostatic Static Discharge (ESD) while adhering to all ESD requirements and Board Handling
  • Use of Moisture Sensitive Device (MSD) handling requirements based on the components' moisture sensitive levels (MSL)
  • Verify product compliance to workmanship standards as documented in work instructions
  • Verify process compliance to establish AOI programs
  • Verify integrity of data collected by machinery
  • Communicate to defects not captured by equipment to responsible personnel for enhancement of program integrity
  • Communicate to assembly operators defects being noted during the AOI program review
  • Understand the control panels and indicators while also running the machine
  • Ensure processes and equipment remain acceptable within company manufacturing standards and AS9100 requirements
  • Comprehend and follow instructions, read and understand blueprints
  • Properly handle and dispose all waste, including hazardous wastes that are generated in daily operations while maintaining cleanliness of the work area
 
 
Salary Range: $16-18/hr
