  • 2 years experience with Accounts Payable
  • Experience with Chargebacks

FULL DESCRIPTION: Our client is looking for an experienced accounting clerk to add to their team. In this role you will be an integral part of the Accounting team, working closing with the Controller. This is an on-site role. 
The selected candidate will be responsible for: 
  • Audit, validate, and process invoices (primarily SG&A).
  • Support internal personnel and external vendors with invoice and payment inquiries, providing a high level of customer service.
  • Assist with weekly check printing, including obtaining proper approvals and following special handling instructions.
  • Enforce firm practices, policies, and procedures as they relate to accounts payable.
  • Independently investigate, dispute, and debrief management on chargebacks as directed
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements in order to increase efficiency.
 
The selected candidate will also possess: 
  • Ability to effectively communicate.
  • 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience
  • Experience with chargebacks (customer shortpays)
  • Mid to Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, lookups, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently 
  • Self-motivated, dynamic achiever with remarkable work.
  • Factor / Chargeback experience is a plus
  • Garment industry experience is a plus
 
Salary Range: Up to $60k/yr
