FULL DESCRIPTION: As the Assistant Customer Service Manager, you play a major role in coaching and developing staff to deliver exceptional customer service. The primary responsibility is to ensure delivery of excellent customer service through fast and accurate processing of orders, communication, and coordinating with other departments to resolve inquiries and complete all orders in a timely manner. 

The selected candidate will be responsible for: 
  • Interview and manage a team of 3-5 employees 
  • Provide employees with regular performance-related feedback, perform midyear and annual performance reviews 
  • Effectively train employees in areas of customer service, clear and cohesive communication, quality, efficiency, product knowledge, department procedures and company policies 
  • Provide backup assistance to customer service staff as needed 
  • Handle escalations and report any anomalies or potential client relations issues to upper management 
  • Review customer service representative's orders for accuracy and in accordance with established policies and procedures 
  • Assist in fostering customer relations by reviewing call longs to ensure customer interaction data is up to date, reviewing reports and other sales related tasks 
  • Monitor cash flow and cash out as needed. Process end of day cash and card settlements 
  • Promote a positive and professional work environment 
  • Work effectively with other departments to accomplish organizational goals and to identify and resolve problems 
  • Performs necessary housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe and organized working environment 
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested 
The selected candidate will also possess: 
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or similar field 
  • 5+ years of experience as a supervisory/ team lead in customer service 
  • Excellent customer service skills, including high level of follow up skill and professionalism 
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision 
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. Proficient in the use of a personal computer and Microsoft office (Word, Excel etc.) 
  • Proficient in data management 
  • Ability to type 35 WPM 
  • Ability to use 10-key by touch  
  • Ability to take initiative and problem solve 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Experience with NAV software is a plus 
  • Excellent attention to detail 
Salary Range: $65-$70k/yr
